Create global value sets

You can find global value sets via My company (1) > Global values (2) > Global value sets (3). You will find that some standard sets of Zenegy have been created that can be freely used and edited.

In the passage below, you will find an example of a global value set for a salaried employee. You must be aware that it will vary from company to company which global values you want to include in such a set.

In this example, we want to create a global value set for salaried employees with an Other holiday plan, which many companies use on collective agreements. To create a new global value set, click Create global value set. You must now choose a Name for the set. The ID must be unique and not the same as on other global value sets.

When Name and ID are filled in, click Save. The value set does not yet contain any global values, nor are there any associated employees. Therefore, the next step will be to add global values to the global set of values.

To add global values to the new set of values, click Add.

Next, select the Type of global value you want to add. Types are described in the section for global values.

A good idea might be to go to the list of global values to see what global values have already been created and see what type they have.

We are based on our standard set, called Standard - Salaried employee with ID GVS1, which contains the following elements:

As there is no standard global value for holiday pay recipient Other holiday plan, we can either change the global value GV5 for holiday pay recipient Holiday pay account or create a new global value.

Examples of other global values you could include:

  • Receive payslip in e-boks
  • Holiday days in advance
  • Days of holiday per year
  • Care days per year
  • Lunch scheme (see the section on global values)
  • P-no. (if the company has several P-numbers)
  • Staff benefits
  • Language on the payslip (if the company has many English-speaking employees)
